Complexities of War

I was reading a post today that really fit my interest level.  I love vintage photography.  I love history…especially WWII.  I love children and learning about the experiences of others, especially those differing from my own.  In this link you will see the thousand words spoken in just a few vintage pictures from the UK.

I am grateful to live in a place where war does not influence my daily life and hope that mankind finds a better way to solve problems…

I have family who remember the black outs and air raid sirens going off.  Does anyone from the UK area remember evacuations…or gas masks?
